John Eric Paulsen

A visitation for John Eric Paulsen, 43, of Johnstown, will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015, from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. A gathering, celebrating his life, will follow at his home, 7657 Johnstown-Utica Road, Johnstown, on Sunday evening following the visitation. Private family burial will take place in the Kirkersville Cemetery at a later date.John died early Wednesday morning, December 16, 2015, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident on U.S. 62 near Johnstown.He was born January 25, 1972, in Columbus, the son of the late John Alvin Paulsen and Donna Marie (Miller) Paulsen of Johnstown. He was a graduate of Northridge H.S., class of 1990, and also attended C-TEC. He was the owner of Integrity HVAC of Ohio and Radical Race Cars. An active drag racer, he enjoyed cars, racing and riding his Harley.He is survived by his loving family, which in addition to his mother, includes his wife Amanda, whom he married on September 8, 2006, his daughters Ashley Sams and her daughter Macala, Tiffany Paulsen and her daughter Azaraya, Kaitlyn (Ben) Scott, Kimberly (Austin) Paulsen and her son Oliver, Kelsey and Chloe Sines; his brother Shawn (Wendy) Paulsen of Newark and their daughter Olivia Nutter, many friends and business associates.His father John A Paulsen, preceded him in death on May 2, 2011.An on-line guest register and video tribute are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.
