John Albert "Johnny" Geho

A graveside service celebrating the life of John Albert “Johnny” Geho, age 74, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alexandria with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating.

Friends may call from 1-3 & 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Johnny was born January 27, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Arthur and Elvera (Donizetti) Geho. He passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Arlington Care Center.

Johnny was a graduate of E.S. Weiant Starlight School and was employed at LICCO for a number of years. He loved to draw and collected many things. He was very fond of coffee and ice cream.

He is survived by two sisters, JoAnn Ogle and Ethel (Paul) Wightman; nieces and nephews; and many caregivers and friends at Newark Resident Homes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Lane; a brother, Arthur Geho, Jr; and a niece, Aprille (Ogle) Barrett.
