A funeral service, celebrating the life of John C. Miller, 81, of Buckeye Lake, Formerly of Thornville, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 23, 2012 at The Thornville home of The Hoskinson-Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, with burial to follow at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery in Thornville.John died July 19, 2012 in Lancaster. He was born April 5, 1931 in Columbus, the son of the late Clyde and Martha Jane (White) Miller. A retired contractor, John enjoyed fishing.He is survived by his children: Karen Alford, John C. (Doris) Miller Jr.,Mike (Terri) Miller, Cathy Graf, brother Marion Miller, sister Jean Oder and sister-in-law Thelma, along with his 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Friends may call Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home, 56 S Main in Thornville.
