John R. Cremeans

John R. Cremeans, 69, of Thornville, passed away on Monday, June 04, 2012 at his home. He was born on October 3, 1942 in Proctorville, Ohio to the late Hobart Berton and Mabel Ellen (Mann) Cremeans. John was a racing enthusiast, U.S. Air Force Veteran, and member of the AmVets Post 51, Thornport.He is survived by his loving family: three children, Jeff (Kim) Cremeans, Randy (Stephanie) Cremeans, and John K. Cremeans; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Drew, Jessie (Kayla), Tyler, Samantha, Levi, and Brooke; two great-grandchildren, Blake and Jessi; two brothers and two sisters, Bill (Pam) Cremeans, Jack (Stella) Cremeans, Mary White, and Debbie (Jim) Smoot; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice (Ooten) Cremeans, and his brother, Hobart Berton Jude Cremeans.A funeral service, celebrating Johns life, will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 South Main St., with Pastor Doug Lynn officiating.Private family burial will be in Lutheran Reform Cemetery.Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4:00- 7:00 PM.Condolences may be sent to www.hoskinsonfuneral.comHOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, Thornville, is honored to care for the Cremeans family.
