A funeral service, celebrating the life of John Thomas Kinser, 36, of New Salem, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015, in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, with Rosalind Beswick officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery.John died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at his home following an extended illness. He was born December 26, 1978, in Lancaster, Ohio the son of Timothy P. and Beverly A. (Mathias) Kinser. He was a 1996 graduate of Fairfield Union H.S., and had worked concrete construction prior to becoming disabled. He enjoyed shooting guns, riding 4 wheelers and spending time spoiling the children in his life. John had a heart that was bigger than he was!In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Zachary (Ashley) Kinser of Lancaster, siblings Kathy (Allen) Paugh of Pleasantville, Tim (Misti) Kinser of New Salem, Amy Kinser of Lancaster; many nieces and nephews including special nieces Dedra and Sarah and nephew Aries.The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31,2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street in Thornville.The family prefers that memorials be directed to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
