John Arthur Wogan

A visitation for John A. Wogan, 74, of Baltimore, will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 2-4 pm in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service.

John passed away late Monday evening, August 26, 2024, following an extended illness. He was born in Mason, West Virginia on August 12, 1950. He graduated from Linden McKinley H.S. in Columbus, Ohio and served honorably in the US Air Force National Guard.  John was a truck driver for AKZO Paints in Columbus for 42 years.

John enjoyed playing pool, golfing and watching NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his loving family: his wife, the former Carol RowLee, whom he married on December 28, 1982, his children John A Wogan, Jr., Patricia Wogan, Michelle (Jeff) Helm, John (Chris) Hobbs, Tonya (Rob) Hogan; his brothers Delmar, Terry (Shelly) and Harold (Jonda) and his sister Roberta; along with his 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Martin, his sisters Phyllis and Pam and his brother Floyd.
