Johnsie Teeters

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Johnsie Mae Teeters, 91, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015, with visitation immediately prior to the services from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00, at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street in Thornville. Her Pastor Michael Saldivar will be the celebrant. Burial will follow the service at Greenhill Cemetery in Johnstown.Johnsie died peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2015, in Newark, following an extended illness. She was born April 28, 1924, in Lenoir, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Ansel and Ethel (Fleming) Mabe. She worked as a teachers assistant for many years. She was a member of Grace Bretheren Church of Pataskala, where she sang in the Church Trio.
