Jon Meade Letts

Jon Meade Letts, 80, of Newark, died Friday, August 5, 2022, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. He was born January 27, 1942, in Cleveland to the late John and Maxine (Meyer) Letts. Jon loved being around people, especially his caregivers and roommates. He enjoyed going to the Gathering Place of Licking County and making people laugh. He adored sitting in his chair, watching tv and relaxing. Jon always looked forward to his next cup of coffee or bowl of ice cream. He is survived by his friends and roommates, Elvin Love, Mark Dickson, and Frank Passailaigue; as well as his amazing caregivers at Newark Resident Homes. Special thank you to the staff at Licking Memorial ICU and Hospice of Central Ohio, all of whom were exceptional in the care they provided him. Memorial contributions may be made in Jon’s memory to Newark Resident Homes, 175 S. Williams St. Newark, OH 43055. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 10th from 11am-12pm at the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home where the funeral service will follow at 12:00pm.
