Joseph L. Husk

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Joseph L. Joe Husk, 59, of Pataskala, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow at the Kirkersville Cemetery at a later date. Joe died suddenly on Monday, August 15, 2016. He was born in Columbus, on October 2, 1956, the son of the late Lewis S. and Joann (Garrison) Husk. He was a graduate of Watkins Memorial H.S., class of 1974, and had worked in his own Tire business. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Vicki, whom he married October 4, 2003, children Shannon (Jason) Sprague of Pataskala, Lisa (Renno Delaney) Husk of Pataskala, Christine Smith of Newark, Jessica (Stephen) Slocum of Thornville and Samuel (Christina Gahegan) Irwin of Buckeye Lake, grandchildren Joshua, Zane, Sam, Briana, Jaden, Stephen, Alia, Juliette, Carter and Javon, nieces, nephews, and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Fred Husk on November 30, 2010. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 E Main Street in Kirkersville.
