Josephine Antle

Josephine Antle, 86, of Thornville, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014. She was born on October 12, 1927 in Athens County , OH , daughter of the late Joseph and Amy ( Wilson ) Moody. She was a founding member of the Calvary Christian Union Church. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Betty Sue VanGundy; sons, Mike (Debbie) Antle, Richard (Melanie) Antle and William Antle; grandchildren, Christy (Spencer) Shellenbarger, Terri Lightle, Dave (Morgan) Antle, Ryan (Kacie) Antle, Caroline Antle, Garrett Antle, Shawn (Lindsay) Garette and Andrew (Savana) Garette; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Genevieve Patterson and several nieces and nephews. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph in 1989, son, Robert, great grandson, Michael Joseph Lightle and 8 brothers and sisters The family will receive friends on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main St. where a funeral service, celebrating Josephine life, will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jim Addy officiating.
