Joyce Ann Bowman

A visitation, celebrating the life of Joyce Bowman, 65, of Buckeye Lake, will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.

Joyce passed away Saturday evening, October 1, 2022, in Columbus, following an extended illness. She was born in Newark, on November 4, 1956, the daughter of the late John and Marlene (Byers) Turner.

She attended Lakewood schools and worked as a retail clerk, prior to her disability. She enjoyed camping and watching OSU football.

She is survived by her loving family: her daughters Melanie (Jerry) Riley and Jamie (Stuart) Bowman; her brother Eddie (Nancy) Turner and sister Susan Haught; several nieces and nephews including Peggy Miller and Michael Turner; her grandchildren Rodney, Kayle (Rick), Kiara, Corey, Zachary, and Nathan; and Andy McNally father of Corey, Zachary and Nathan; great grandchildren Aubree and Alaya.
