Joyce Anne Gerren

Funeral services celebrating the life of Joyce Anne Gerren Smith, 48, of Thornville, will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, July 11, 2021 in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street in Thornville. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Joyce passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at her home in Thornville. She was born January 14, 1973 in Newark, the daughter of the late Alfred Noel Gerren and Linda Eileen (Burdine) Gerren who survives.

She was a 1991 Graduate of Lakewood H.S., and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. She was employed by Amazon in the Etna fulfillment center.
In addition to her mother, Joyce is survived by her former husband John Smith, with whom she made her home, her siblings John (Leisa Davis) Gerren, Chip (Angie) Gerren and Pam Gerren; along with her nephew Cody (Derika) Maynard and niece Alisha (Nick) Young.
