Joyce R. Robinson

A funeral service celebrating the life of Joyce R. Robinson, 86, of Lancaster, will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Chaplain Mark Linn officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville, on Sunday, August 29th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Joyce was born in Pataskala, Ohio on June 20, 1935 to the late Raymond and Nellie (Harter) Ford. She passed away on August 24, 2021 at the Main Street Terrace in Lancaster. Joyce was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed ceramics, fishing and was a dog and animal lover. She also enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Herbert A. Robinson, whom she married January 24, 1959; children, Elizabeth (Mark) Clapham, Barbara Robinson and Raymond (Margaret) Robinson; sisters, Shirley (Harold) Rowand and Barbara (Earl) Agee; grandchildren, Phillip (Sommer) Clapham, Stephen (Stacey) Clapham, Bethany (Mark) Swanson, Brooke (Anthony) Robinson, Olivia (Janson) Robinson and Andrew Robinson; great grandchildren, Ashton, Jase, Lillian, Harper, Charlotte, Liberty and Lincoln; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and Roderick Ford. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Joyce to FairHope Hospice.
