Joyce I. Stanley

Funeral services celebrating the life of Joyce I. Stanley, 79, of Etna, will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until time of the funeral services.

Joyce, passed away November 15, 2021 in Columbus following a brief illness. She was born in Cincinnati, on July 13, 1942. She retired after a career with the State of Ohio.

Joyce loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved music and dancing, enjoyed reading, playing puzzles and board games and listening to religious programs on T.V.

She is survived by her loving family: her children: Garth Stanley and his son Jordan Peters-Stanley; Derek (Kristin) Stanley and their children Alex and Luke; her daughter Jamie Stanley and her children Kayla Stanley and Katlyn Jeffries. Her half-sister Margie Davis and the father of her children Garth (Maryanne) Stanley.  Joyce was also close to several people whom she considered siblings and they are Jo Ellen Scott, Mary Klein and David Mangold.

The family prefers that memorial contributions in her memory be directed to Central Ohio Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. www.lifecarealliance.com .
