Juanita Elaine Kasson

Juanita Elaine Kasson, age 71, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Juanita was born February 17, 1948 in Newark, Ohio to the late Howard Lewis and Anna (Buck) Barton.

Juanita was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip L. Kasson; daughters, Tracy (Matt) Jivanjee of Columbus and Kristy Queen of Newark; grandchildren, Joshua Bennett, Cody Gallant, Danielle Bennett, Meagan Jivanjee, Dylan Queen and Austin Queen; great-grandchildren, Elijah Gallant, Rory Gallant, William Loughry and Hunter Loughry; brothers and sisters, Bill (Vickie) Barton, Tony Barton, Evelyn Grise, Sheila Arthur, Barbara (Ken) Yockman, Patricia (Ken) Moran, Kay (Don) Swonger, Dodi (Sid) Thorpe, Sherry Smith and Lori (Chuck) Mitchell-Stemm; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Kasson; son-in-law, Andrew Queen; and brothers, Richard, Jerry, James and Raymond Barton.

A private family gathering will be observed.
