Judith Ann Barnhart, 77 of Pataskala, currently residing at Country View of Sunbury, went peacefully home to be with her Savior, surrounded by her husband and children, on October 15th 2024. Born on February 24th 1947, in Newark, Ohio. Daughter of the Late Hazel (Williams) and James Schmidt. Judy had a heart for Christ and was an active member of her local Churches. She had an intense love of animals, and was a fierce advocate for children’s right to life as well as those less fortunate. She never had much, but would gladly give all she had. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed movies, fairs, festivals, and yard sales. Judy is survived by her husband Charles Barnhart, children, Sherri Smith, Jerry (Christa) Smith, Rebecca (Thomas) Bingham, Brother, James (Mary) Schmidt, Sister, Jeanne (Jim) Rieser, Sister-In-Law, Judy Schmidt, 5 Grandchildren, Timothy, Cody, Jerrad, Troy, and Brock, 5 Great Grandchildren, Cayden, Carter, Carson, Samuel, and Gwenyth, as well as Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother John Schmidt. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at a date to be determined. The Family would like to thank Bella Care Hospice and Country View of Sunbury for their tireless efforts and care during her time with them, as well as Hoskinson Funeral Home for their help with final arrangements .
