Judith Ann Ford

A funeral service celebrating the life of Judith Ann Ford, 74, of Somerset, will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will be held in Jacksontown Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville, two hours prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Judith was born in Lancaster, Ohio on September 28, 1949 to the late Wilbert and Ann (Waldren) Walton. She passed away at her residence on December 20, 2023. Judith was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Licking County Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, flower gardening and feeding the wildlife. Most important was the time she spent with her loving family and friends. Survivors include her children, Lisa (Kent) Davis, Barbara (Kevin) Amspaugh and Celeste (John) Ford; sister, Sandra (Paul “Buzz”) Bushue; grandchildren, Leigha, Keelie, Kristin, Cameron, Corey and Madison; nieces and nephews, Gary, Billy, Michelle, Annette, Kim and Nick; great niece and nephew, Shyanne and Austin; and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Townsend; brother, Kenny Walton; and former husband, Robert “Louie” Ford. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Licking County Church of God. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
