Judith E. Nicholl

Judith E. (Mikesell) Nicholl, 76, of Newark, passed away on April 8, 2021 in Newark. She was born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas on December 30, 1944 to the late Verlin O. and Alice M. (Dunlap) Mikesell. Judith graduated from Jefferson High School in New Paris, Ohio and received her Bachelor of Music degree from Miami University. Prior to retirement, she was an owner/operator of Liberty Computer in Bellefontaine, Ohio and she was also a private music teacher. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Newark; New Albany Community Band; and West Central Ohio Community Band. She enjoyed horses, playing the clarinet and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Jeanine (Jimmy) Joseph and Christopher (Lauren) Nicholl; grandchildren, Graeme Nicholl, Mackenzie Joseph and Sarah Joseph; brothers, Ronald Mikesell, Kenneth (Kathy) Mikesell and Gary Mikesell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her prior husband, Dewey Nicholl; and special friend, William Huffman. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Judith to Central Christian Church, 587 Mt. Vernon Rd., Newark, Ohio 43055. Private services will be held at a later date for the family.
