Judy L. Detty-Grigsby

A memorial service celebrating the life of Judy L. Detty-Grigsby, age 74, of Heath, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Judy was born July 27, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Hibert J. Detty, Jr. and the late Betty E. (Tidwell) Detty. She passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Judy was a 1965 graduate of Groveport Madison High School. She was all about her dogs and dabbled in many creative things. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed trying new recipes.

She is survived by her son, Eric Fenner (Pat Traynor) of Annapolis, Maryland; daughter, Gina Yetter-Pilsucki (Robert) of Locust Grove, Virginia; step-daughter, Traci (Terry) Kirkpatrick of Hebron; grandchildren, Max Yetter and Riley Yetter; step-grandchildren, Mackenzie (Kyle) Dixon and Alex Kirkpatrick; sisters, Jan Detty Hughes of Reynoldsburg and Jill Detty Oswaks (Roy) of Pickerington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel L. Grigsby, whom she married on August 28, 1993 and who passed away on May 28, 2015; a daughter, Angela Yvette Fenner; and a sister, Joy Buckles.
