Judy Marie Miller

A memorial service celebrating the life of Judy Marie Miller, age 70, of Newark, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 3-5 prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, masks must be worn inside the funeral home and please practice social distancing.

Judy was born February 23, 1951 in Newark, Ohio to the late William M. Hupp, Jr. and the late Mary Kathryn (Payne) Hupp. She passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening, thrift shopping, yard sales, riding motorcycles, and spending time at the ocean.

She is survived by three children, Joseph McClain of Brownsville, Ginger Palmer of Newark and Gretchen Harris (Bryan) of Thornville; daughter-in-law, Barbara Bowser of Brownsville; grandchildren, Joseph McClain II, Karrie (James) Stroup, Levi Bowser, Joely McClain, Tristan McClain, Devon (Jacob) Smith, Michael (Harley) Palmer, Jr., Brooke Palmer, Judd Palmer, Shayla McCandless and Cobi Harris; great-grandchildren, Cheyanne McClain, Rileigh McClain, Raeann McClain, Adelynd Smith, Everett Smith, Truitt Smith, Michael Palmer II, Jaxson Lewellyn, Ivy McCandless and Kashton McCandless; brothers, Marion Hupp of Newark and Marty (Cheryl) Hupp of Columbus; sister, Raylene Bachman of Newark; nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Diane Hupp of Newark; special cousin, Sandy Marshall of Thornville as well as several other cousins; and special friends, Linda Boyer, Frank Dudgeon and Sharon Peacock, all of Newark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ronald, Danny, Donald and Russell Hupp.
