A memorial visitation, celebrating the life of Judy Kay Simcoe, 65, of Canal Winchester, will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main St in Kirkersville.
Judy passed away early Thursday morning, March 18, 2021 at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Columbus, on February 13, 1956, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Nellie (Payne) Moore. She grew up on the south side of Columbus. She worked in several capacities, including at Nutis press and as a home health aide.
Judy enjoyed interior design, sewing and flowers.
She is survived by her loving family: daughters Terri (Anthony) Tignanelli and Kelly (Jim Virgin) Simcoe; her grandchildren Rikki (Josh) Foster, Zachary (Amber) Simcoe, Taylor Simcoe, Shannon and Jordan Bennett; her seven great-grandchildren; her siblings Jeannie (Dick) Baker, Steve (Barb) Moore, Keith (Jenny) Moore, Tim ( Karen) Moore and Betty (Pat) Davis; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children Ricky Simcoe, her sister Sandy Henry and her lifelong friends Chuck and Theresa Dellario.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Lemessa Rare and the staff at Vitas Hospice, for their loving expert care of Judy.
The family prefers that expressions of sympathy, in the form of memorial contributions be directed to Vitas Hospice, 655 Metro Place South #770, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
Due to COVID 19, only thirty persons will be allowed in the funeral home at one time, wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
