Julie Dawn Spires

Julie Dawn Spires, age 55, of Granville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 10, at her home. Julie was born July 9, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio.

Julie was formerly employed with AT&T and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed cats, decorating, gardening, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Charles P. Spires; daughters, Sarah (Michael) Skunza of Canal Winchester and Breanna Coffield (Jordan Caldwell) of Thornville; father and step-mother, William and Esther Coffield of Orlando, Florida; step-children, Brent Spires of Lancaster and Brandee Spires of Columbus; grandchildren, Logan Spires and Brandon Spires; brother, Ronnie Coffield of Orlando, FL; sisters, Stacy (Darrin) Wheeler of Orlando, FL, Jo Larrimore of Inwood, West Virginia, and Cindy (Tom) Greene of Reynoldsburg; several nieces and nephews.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Vance; and a brother, Brian Coffield.

Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville. Facemasks must be worn inside the funeral home and please practice social distancing.

The family will observe a private memorial service.
