Karen Colwell

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Karen Colwell, age 67, of Adams Mills. Karen was born January 11, 1948 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Arley and Anna (LaRue) Sturgill. She passed away on June 12, 2015 at her home.Karen was a talented artist.She is survived by her husband, Donnie Colwell; son, Tom Stewart of Newark; three grandchildren, Spencer, Graycen and Madilyn; sisters, Tracy Weiss, Pam Best and Bev Drake; many nieces and nephews; and dear friend, whom she thought of as a daughter, Becky (Kevin)Ault and her children, Robert, Rachel and Rianne.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Karen and her family.
