Karen Kay (King) Loudermilk

Karen Kay Loudermilk, age 57, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at her home.Karen was born June 4, 1957 in Newark, Ohio and was a 1975 graduate of Newark High School. She owned and operated Bits and Pieces Novelty Shop and enjoyed taking care of her flowers, gardening, and going to yard sales.She is survived by two sons, Craig Loudermilk and Cory Loudermilk, both of Newark; sister and brothers, Vicki Dalton (Louis), Brian King and Harold King (Rhonda), all of Newark; several nieces and nephews; former husband, Gene Loudermilk of Newark; and her dog, Chica.Special thanks to a dear friend, Mistie Hull.She was preceded in death by her mother, Sherilyn Rose (Bowell) King.A private celebration of Karens life will be held at a later date.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Loudermilk family.
