Karin H. (Schrader) Klein

A funeral service celebrating the life of Karin H. (Schrader) Klein, age 68, of Somerset, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home.Karin was born November 28, 1947 in Celle, Germany. She passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Genesis Hospice in Zanesville. Karin emigrated to the United States at the age of 6. Karin had been employed with Atrium Services as a Print Tech. She was also a talented seamstress and made power suits for bodybuilders.Karin enjoyed bodybuilding and won the Arnold Classic in 1992 in the Womens Heavyweight Division. She was a member of the Columbus Damenchor where she played the piano and sang.She is survived by her mother, Maria Mia (Gotte) Schrader of New Milford, New Jersey; Life Mate, Harry H. Hershon of Somerset; sons, Justin Mitchell of Harrisburg, Virginia and Erik Mitchell of Columbus; and five grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her father, Erwin Schrader, and a brother, Richard Schrader.Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, and from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Karin and her family.
