Karla K. Zollinger

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Karla K. Zollinger, age 51, of Millersport, will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Terry Amspaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery in Thornville.Karla was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 3, 1964 to the late David and Patricia (Sexton) Kochensparger. She passed away on March 27, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.Karla worked many years for Cardinal Health. She enjoyed the beach, and loved spending time with her family, friends and especially loved doting on her two grandchildren, that knew her as Nana.She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jay K. Zollinger, whom she married November 17, 1984; two daughters, Krystal (Kirk) Washburn and Kristen (Austin) Nye; two grandsons, Luke Washburn and Mason Nye; siblings, Annette DiNardo, David (Brenda) Kochensparger, Richard Kochensparger, Timothy Kochensparger and Carrie (Kenneth) Kochensparger-Moss; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Karla to the American Cancer Society.
