Katherine Virginia "Kay" Ouellette

Katherine Virginia “Kay” Ouellette, age 89, of Heath, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). Kay was born November 6, 1931 in Newark, Ohio to the late Harold A. and Nellie E. (Fairley) Link.

Kay resided in Fullerton, California for many years and was a Realtor with Century 21 and part of the Million Dollar Club. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was a graduate of Granville High School. Kay loved the sunshine and spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and was especially known for her Thanksgiving stuffing.

Kay is survived by her husband of 31 years, Roger E. Ouellette, whom she married November 20, 1989; daughters, Pam (Tom) McKenzie of Thornville and Debbie (Gary) Slone of Glenford; grandchildren, Shannon (Paul) Hill and Michelle (Charlie) Shafer; great-grandchildren, Luke, Zack, Autumn and Adi; step-grandchildren, Joe, Julie and Jodie; step-great-grandchildren, Brandon, Eryn, Jayme, Zoe and Sophee; step-great-great-grandchild, Jordan; sister-in-law, Carol Link of Newark; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Traci Corbin; two brothers, Harold and Charles Link; and a sister, Dorothy Banks.
