Kathleen A. Swires

Kathleen A. Swires, age 68, of Frazeysburg, passed away on April 16, 2016 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 6, 1947 to the late John and Anna (Bilovocki) Regrut.Kathleen graduated from West High School in Cleveland, Class of 1966; and continued her education, graduating from Jane Adams School of Nursing in Cleveland. Prior to retirement, Kathleen was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 45 years. She enjoyed gardening, going on cruises and traveling with her husband, Chris.Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, James Chris Swires, whom she married November 11, 1995; daughter, Andrea Marie (Kenneth) Checovich; step-daughter, Elisabeth (Kurt) Carpenter; granddaughter, Courtney Kathleen Checovich; siblings, William J. Regrut, Debra (Lonnie) Ellis and Douglas (Chery) Regrut; nieces, Katie Ellis and Nadine Ellis; and numerous other family and friends.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Kathleen and her family.
