Kathleen M. Fairburn

Kathleen M. Fairburn, 86, of Frazeysburg, passed away at her residence on October 17, 2024. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 29, 1937 to the late Hugo and Ellen (Field) Hertel. Prior to retirement, Kathleen was a legal secretary for many years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, collecting and traveling with her husband on their motorcycle. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Forrest L. Fairburn; children, Kerry Jauss, Lynne (Gary) Brand, Christina (Rick) Fifield and Robin (Debbie) Fairburn; brother, Stan Hertel; sister, Elaine (Cliff) Ashley; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Kell; and brother, William Hertel. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kathleen to Hospice of Central Ohio. A graveside service will be held at Newark Memorial Gardens at a later date. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Kathleen and her family.
