Kathleen "Kay" Pfeifer

Kay was a devoted mother to Linda Pfeifer, Steve Pfeifer, Dennis (Beth) Pfeifer, Dana (Marlene) Pfeifer, daughter-in-law Krista Pfeifer. She was a proud grandmother to Kevin, Brian, Nina, Trent, Lance, Kyle and Kara, along with her 8 great-grandchildren, her sister Joanne (Darrell) Houser and many nieces and nephews.A special thank you to the staff at Thornville Health and Rehab Center for their wonderful care of Kay over the past 9 years, also thank you to the Bellacare Hospice nurses (especially Jamie) for their caring support during this difficult time.The family prefers that memorials be directed to the American Red Cross, for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.Family and Friends may call on Thursday, August 31, 2017 (THIS EVENING) from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street in Thornville, where funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017.Kay will be buried next to her beloved husband Lawrence in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, Thornville, is honored to care for Kay and her family.
