Kathryn Sue Ramsey

Kathryn Sue Ramsey, age 66, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).

Kathryn was born December 1, 1956 in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was a housekeeper for many years with Tuscany Gardens. Kathryn was an avid crafter and enjoyed sewing. She loved going on adventures with her children and grandchildren to Dillon State Park, Hocking Hills, Hoover Reservoir, and Dawes Arboretum.

She is survived by her husband, Rob Ramsey; five children, Shawn (Ann) Elliott, Shannon Elliott, Holly Elliott, Benessa Bowen (Luke Young), and Benjamin Bowen; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved her cats, Big Boy and Pretty Face.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Wilda Jean (Hurst) and Glen Modesitte.

At her request, no service will be observed.
