Kathy Elaine Jefferies

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Kathy Elaine Jefferies. 68, of Newark, will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with calling hours being held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5 until 8 pm.  Kathy will be laid to rest in the Kirkersville Cemetery, near her parents Varner Paul and Helen Lorena (Dotson) Davis.

Kathy passed away November 30, 2021 in Columbus, following an extended illness. She was born in Clarksburg WV, on October 28, 1953. She was retired as a switchboard operator from Shand Hospital in Florida.

Kathy loved Dolls and has a beautiful collection of them. She also loved spoiling her grandson Tyler James Jefferies.  She enjoyed frequent shopping trips.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Jefferies; her son James Jefferies; her sisters Clarice (Anthony) Durtschi, Connie McFarland, Mabel (Keith) Christian, Crystal Browning; her brother Mark (Peggy) Davis; her husband James “Jimmy” Jefferies and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Helen Lorena (Dotson) and Varner Paul Davis; she was preceded in death by her brothers Olie, Danny and Ricky Davis.
