Kelly René Waters

Kelly René Waters, age 49, of Thornville, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at her home in a tragic fire that also claimed the lives of her grandson, Jeremiah David Samuel Rutter, and her fiancée, Dennis “Fritz” Erckert.

Kelly was born November 2, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a 1987 graduate of Sheridan High School and was a homemaker and caregiver for her grandson.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon Ann (Larson) Black; two daughters, Amanda Maria Rutter (Chad Smith) and Christina Ann Riley; four grandchildren; a brother, Mark Larson; and a nephew.

Kelly was preceded in death by her father, David Louis Black.

At the request of Kelly and her family, there will be no service or visitation observed.
