Kenneth Lloyd Corder

A funeral service celebrating the life of Kenneth Lloyd “Kenny” Corder, age 51, of Jacksontown, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 21, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating. Burial will take place in Jacksontown Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.

Kenny was born January 3, 1972 in Columbus Ohio. He passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at his home following a valiant battle with prostate cancer.

Kenny was a 1990 graduate of Lakewood High School and was also a graduate of the Licking County JVS and Columbus State Community College, having received his Journeyman Electrician certification. He was currently employed with TJX in New Albany and was formerly employed for over 20 years with the Superior Group in Columbus. He was a member of IBEW #683 in Columbus. Kenny enjoyed building Lego models, riding his Harley, and he loved to travel, especially the Pacific Coast Highway to Oregon.

He is survived by his parents, Becky and Steve Patterson of Thornville; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Rob Miller of Hebron; niece, Rebecca Price: nephews, Dustin Price, Colton Miller, and Morgan Miller; aunt, Gwen Hannigan of Millersport; and uncle, Lloyd “Der” (Bonnie) Fyffe of Hebron.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Sue (Stickle) Corder; brother, Anthony Luckeydoo; nephew, Jacob Corder; his maternal grandparents, Betty and Lloyd Fyffe; aunt, Nancy Eisel; and an uncle Tom Hannigan.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
