Kenneth V. Yeager, 81, formerly of Hebron, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at his home in Dayton. He was born March 24, 1942, in Washington, Pa., the son of the late William S and Virginia (Horr) Yeager. Kenneth served honorably in the US Navy. He was employed for many years at the Morrow Macke Mailing Services company. He enjoyed shooting pool and playing darts. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a member of the former Buckeye Lake Post 1388 of the VFW. He is survived by his loving family: his sons Kenneth (Chris) Yeager, Dave (Tina) Yeager, daughters Nadine (James) Whitten, Ruth (Terry) Hoffer, Lucinda (Danny) Gotschall, April (Dustin) Kieber, Mary Powell; his brother Charles (Betty)Robison; his sisters Portia and Geneva McCracken; along with 27 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Clifford, Henry, Robert Robinson and Earl Yeager; his sisters Twila Hewitt and Mary Ellen Robinson; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Kieber and great-grandson Ezekial Lindsey. Honoring Kenneth’s wishes, there will be a private family gathering, followed by cremation and his cremated remains will be inurned in the Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio with full military honors.
