A funeral service celebrating the life of Kevin Lee Cade, age 47, of Baltimore, will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Tim Sowards officiating. Burial will follow at Millersport Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Kevin was born in Lancaster, Ohio on June 29, 1970 to Linda (Hensley) DeVault and Lee Cade. He passed away on September 13, 2017 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Kevin was owner/operator, along with his wife, of Merikev Express. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, where he served as an Associate Pastor, Sunday school teacher and altar call worker. He was an avid motorcyclist, dirt track racing enthusiast and was a World War II buff. He also enjoyed quad racing, spending time on Buckeye Lake and boating. Kevin had an ornery, outgoing personality, and most important in life was his wife, family and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Maria (Miracle) Cade, whom he married October 31, 1992; mother, Linda (William) DeVault; father, Lee (Kristi) Cade; brother, Travis Cade; mother and father-in-law, Garry and Dorothy Miracle; maternal grandfather, Paul Hensley; paternal grandmother, Jean Cade; brother-in-law, Garry (Summer) Miracle; nieces and nephews, Annabelle, Catalina, Isaiah and Jeremiah Miracle; beloved dog, Jazz; close friends, Pastor Tim and Holly Sowards, Kailyn (Dillon) Furbee and Landon Sowards; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marjorie Hensley; paternal grandfather, Roy Cade; step-father, Ray Lane and grandmother-in-law, Donna Isaly.
