Kimberly Sue Carbaugh

Kimberly Sue (Blade) Carbaugh, 63, of Hebron, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 in Riverside Hospital, Columbus following an extended illness. She was born Jan 21, 1958 in Newark, the daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Betty Ann (Harvey) Blade. She was a graduate of Lakewood H.S., class of 1976; and served honorably in the US Air Force, where she was part of the Honor Guard. Kim had worked in the parts department at Bowman Chevrolet and also drove school bus for Lakewood and Millersport Schools. She and her husband Dan also ran the Hebron Greenhouse and were known for their grave blankets and wreaths at Christmas Time.

Kim was an avid gardener and also canned her own tomato juice. She loved to water ski as a younger person and was a member of the Buckeye Lake Water Ski club.

She is survived by her husband Daniel Carbaugh, whom she married on June 21, 1986, her sons Josh (Sara) and Thomas (Ann); her grandchildren Aerith and Blake (Hallie) and her great grandchildren Finn and River; along with her brother Brett Blade and her sister Sharon (Larry) Reilly; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Gary R. Blade in 1999.

A celebration of her life will be held at Hebron American Legion on Saturday September 25, 2021 from 2 :00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
