A homegoing service celebrating the life of Kimberly Kay Miller, age 54 of Newark, will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, with Reverend Mario Williams officiating. Friends may call at the church, 383 Washington St. on Friday, one hour prior to the funeral service, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Kimberly was born in Newark, Ohio on December 14, 1962 to the late Brenda (Miller) Campbell and is survived by her biological father, Gene Hadnot and her dad/step-father, Horace Campbell. She passed away at Bryden Place in Columbus on April 28, 2017. Kimberly was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, was always full of joy, was free-spirited and loved to make everyone laugh. She will be missed by all that knew her. Survivors include her children, India Miller and Curtis Campbell; sisters, Jill (James) Alverson, Donetta Miller, Terri Downs, Jean Hadnot, Patrice Harris and Tish Allen; grandchildren, Samiha, Latoya, Ciara and Exzavier; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kimberly to Kindred Hospice.
