Kyle Anthony Maite, 37, passed away suddenly on September 20, 2022, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Kyle was the loving husband of Kalen Maite for nearly nine years. In addition to his wife, Kyle is survived by his two children, Cameron (4) and Jordan (1), his mother Kimberly Tolin and her fiance, Robert Rich; his father and stepmother Anthony and Jennifer Maite, his brother Jason (Kelley) Rowland, his parents-in-law Larry and Deborah Keller, his sisters-in-law Stacey (Nate) Clements and Jenna (Travis) Gorham, his grandparents Ellis and Lorraine Towery, grandparents-in-law Richard Keller and Lovella Harlow, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Antimo and Martha Maite and Charles and Suzanne Evans. Kyle grew up in Negley, Ohio, and was a 2003 graduate of Beaver Local High School. He fearlessly pursued his passion for music as he recorded and toured throughout the United States, England, and Japan with his treasured friends in The Rydells, Hit the Lights, and Thief Club. His passion for music was only surpassed by his love for people as he also found employment serving others at the Buckeye Lake Brewery where he first met his wife in September 2012. His fondness for the road ultimately led him to driving trucks for Old Dominion, where he worked for the past two years. While he was well-traveled, Kyle’s center was truly family and friendship, and his pure soul brought boundless love and joy to all the lives he touched. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life through calling hours on Monday, September 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Millersport United Methodist Church or on Tuesday, September 27 from 10:00 am- 11:00 am, where the funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Jim Condrey and Tyler Gorham co-officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pataskala. The funeral will be live streamed through the Hoskinson Funeral Home FaceBook page. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Licking County Humane Society. Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Kyle and his family.
