Lambert "Sonny" Frischen

Lambert Sonny Frischen, 86, of Kirkersville, reached up and touched the face of Jesus on Saturday evening, May 26, 2018. He was the son of the late Othmar and Eva (Moran) Frischen. Lambert was born January 4, 1932, in Newark, and was a 1951 graduate of Hebron H.S. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 27 years with the South West Licking Schools. He was a member of the Crossway Community Church, Kirkersville. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Surviving is his wife Rosemary (OReilly) Frischen, three sons: Steve (Janelle) Frischen of Coshocton, Larry (Sharon) and Gary (Sandi) Frischen, both of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren Clark, Jonathan, Terry and Larry; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four sisters Virginia, Geraldine, Maxine and Janice; and a son Terry. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E Main Street in Kirkersville, where funeral services celebrating his life will follow on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Glen Gram as celebrant. Burial with fullmilitary honors will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery. The family prefers that memorials be directed to the foundation for Hospice in Central Ohio, P.O.
