Lanita Arminta "Minnie" Bice

Lanita Arminta “Minnie” Bice, age 60, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Minnie was born September 19, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Ernest Cecil and Bonnie Jean (Tilton) Glaneman.

Minnie was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles in Zanesville and loved to go to dances at the Eagles with her sister, Kay. Minnie also enjoyed crocheting and was a talented seamstress.

She is survived by two daughters, Rachel R. (David) Murphy and Denise D. Nice; grandchildren, Jordan Murphy, Branson Gadd, Addison Gadd, Aubrianna Murphy and Emma Nice; sisters, Kay Cole-Tyson, Laura Holly Kyllo, Juanita (Ralph) Burri and Pamela Knapp; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Willard Bice, on December 24, 2014; and by four brothers, Ernest, Patrick Hugh, Richard and Sidney Glaneman.

At her request, no service or visitation will be observed.
