Larry Gene Ball

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Larry Gene Ball, 58, of Thornville, will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main St., Thornville, with Pastor Matias Garza officiating. Burial will follow at Olivet Cemetery. Friend may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral service, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.Larry was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 4, 1956 to the late Elza and Rena (Holiday) Ball. He passed away on September 3, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital.Larry worked for Trucco Construction for many years.Survivors include his wife, Carol Ball; daughter, Mary (Kyle) Smaltz; son, Matt (fianc, Marissa Hupp) Ball; grandchildren, Dakota, Camron and Jeremiah; brothers, Johnnie (Zeny) Ball, Odell Ball, Harold (Penny) Ball; sisters, Ettafae Salyer and Carol (Chuck) McClary; many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by brothers, Ellis Ball, Paul Ball and Ronnie Ball; and sisters, Elenora Ball, Janet Rarey and Minnie L.
