Larry Gene Koontz

Larry Gene Koontz, age 64, of Pataskala, passed away peacefully at his home on March 18, 2017 after a battle with cancer. Larry was born on November 7, 1952 to the late Frank Dee Koontz and Mary Emileen (Whitehead) Koontz.Prior to retirement, Larry worked at Worthington Steel and he lived on the family farm all of his life. He loved tractors and spending time in the barn with friends and family. Larry was a wonderful friend to everyone, had a huge heart and would give anything to anyone who needed it.Survivors include his sister, Irene Snyder; niece, Lisa Snyder; girlfriend Shelia Stickel, with whom he shared his life; and many cousins and friends who loved him as a brother.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Koontz.In honor of Larrys wishes, there will be no services.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Larry and his family.
