Larry L Parsons

Larry L. Parsons, 85, of Glenford, passed away January 5, 2021 in Newark following a brief illness. He was born January 17, 1935 in Midland, Michigan, the son of the late Arlow and Pansy (Carmichael) Parsons. He served honorably in the US Army, and retired from the Newark AFB after many years of service as a guidance technician. He also drove school bus for the Lakewood School system for nearly 15 years. He was a member of the Southgate Church of Christ in Heath. He is survived by his loving family: wife Phyllis, children Mark (Somai) Parson, Sherrie (Kim) Bates, Matthew (Amy) Parsons; grandchildren Clinton (Lisa) Bates, Karen (Wes) Bell and Cody Kitchen; great grandchildren Nash, Nixen, Leyna and Lydia. Honoring Larry’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. The family prefers that memorials be directed to the foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058.
