Laura Pienta

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Laura E Pienta, 68, of Columbus, formerly of Ruskin, Florida; will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation service, with Mike Pratt as celebrant.Laura died Friday afternoon, October 11, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Columbus, following an extended illness. She was born in Lancaster, Ohio on November 3, 1944, the daughter of the late Leo and Rosalie (Peoples) Trigg.She had resided in the Ruskin, Florida area for the last twenty years, where she was active in the Eagles lodge #4351, Moose Lodge and American Legion Auxillary Unit 0309. She and Bob loved the Florida life, walking on the beach, and she also loved her cats Mister Roo and Bandit.She is survived by her loving family: Wendi Clark (Hiles) of Baltimore, Tara Hall (Hiles) of Columbus, along with her grandchildren Dustin, Jenna , Jordan and Brandon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Pienta in May of this year; and her sister Odena.Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct 15, 2013 from 6-7 p.m. immediately prior to the funeral services.
