Lee Heimberger

A Graveside service, celebrating the life of Lee Edward Heimberger, age 84, most recently of Winchester, Virginia; will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the Kirkersville Cemetery.Lee passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in Winchester, VA. He was born in Pataskala, Ohio on November 22, 1928 to the late Everett and Ruth (Nicodemus) Heimberger. He graduated from Etna High School. Lee married Janice in 1949.He worked for Palmer Tractor Sales until the Army had a different career plan for him in 1951. He served in the Korean Conflict in Germany until returning home and resuming work with Palmers. After working for Palmer Tractor Sales for 20 years, the company went out of business and Lee went to work for Dayton Precision Corporation in Heath. He quickly worked his way up the ranks from a factory worker to management, where he retired after 25 years of service.He is survived by his daughter Marcia (Miles) Oliver, two sisters Doris (Leland) Powell of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; and Grace (Richard) Keller of Millersport, OH; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Lee was preceded in death by his wife Janice of 52 years of marriage in 2001, his parents Ruth and Everett and a brother Glen.Friends may call at Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street, Kirkersville, on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Lees name to: Pilot Dogs, Inc., 625 West Town Street, Columbus, OH 43215.Online condolences may be sent to www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, Kirkersville, is honored to care for the Heimberger Family
