Leona C. "Nonie" Grigsby

Leona C. Nonie Grigsby, age 70, of Newark, passed away at her residence on July 6, 2016, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Lexington, Ohio on July 13, 1945 to the late Chester Leroy and Violet Leona (Barnhart) Stalling.Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Nonie enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her three children, Candy (Joe) Miller, Brian (Tammy) Grigsby and Robert Grigsby; five grandchildren, Shane Dunlap, Kate Ardetto, Jessica Grigsby, Steven Miller and Brian Miller; four great grandchildren, Ethan Dunlap, Joey Dunlap, Peyton Newell and Logan Banks; two sisters, Janice (Lester) Keister and Joyce (Duane) Bussart; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Sampson.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara McCaig and Nancy Perry; and beloved companion, Johnnie F. Null.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nonie to the American Cancer Society.
