Leonard “Bill” Kopp, 74, of Newark, Ohio passed away on April 30, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Brownsville, Ohio on February 17, 1947 to the late Russell and Florence (Bogle) Kopp. Prior to retirement, Bill worked at Owens-Corning for 42 years. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan, he enjoyed watching TV, especially ESPN, and enjoyed mowing the lawn. He had an uplifting, teasing personality and will be missed by everyone that knew him. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Vickie R. (Epling) Kopp, whom he married July 25, 1964; children, Billy (Bobbi) Kopp, Kurt (Lisa Jean) Kopp and Lisa Marie Kopp; grandchildren, Travis (Katie) Kopp, Russell Pettibone, Ryan (Amanda) Kopp, Jarrod (Alisha) Kopp, Dane Kopp and Adara Kopp; great grandchildren, Shawn Kopp, Rowan Kopp, Graycen Harris and Colson Harris; brothers, Larry Kopp and Gary Kopp; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Kopp; and brother, Earl Kopp. At Bill’s request, no services will be held.
