Leonard A. Golde

It is with great sadness that the Golde family announce the death of Leonard A. “Lenny” Golde, age 72 of Newark. Lenny was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 1, 1950 to the late Jerry Golde and Leba Rae (Abramson) Caudill. He passed away peacefully at Licking Memorial Hospital on May 15, 2023, while surrounded by his loving wife, Kathy, and three children. Lenny was a wonderful husband, father and Pops to his three grandsons. He proudly served his country in the United States Airforce Reserves. Prior to retirement, he was a finance manager for auto dealerships for many years. He enjoyed working word puzzles, cooking and spending time with his family, especially doting on his grandchildren. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Kathy L. (Siegwald) Golde, whom he married September 4, 1981; Children, Connie (Andy) Fix, Danny (Heather) Golde and Brian Golde; sister, Joni Conner; grandsons, Noah, Logan and Lee; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Struve; and brother, Rob Golde. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lenny to Hospice of Central Ohio.
