Leroy Grant Rathburn

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Leroy Grant Rathburn, 79, of Thornville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial with full military honors will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery.

Lee was born June 15, 1940, in Columbus, the son of the late James and Emma (Minnix) Rathburn. He was a successful brick mason with his own contracting business for many years.

He is survived by his sons Larry and David Rathburn; his sister Susie (David) Morbitzer, his brother James (Carmen) Rathburn; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2018, his son Danny; his brother David and his sister Emma Fabbre.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.

Memorial contributions in his honor may be directed to the VA healthcare center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
